The Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority together with the International Labour Organization (ILO) organized orientation meeting with hospitals and the Healthwise initiative of the ILO. Healthwise is a workplace improvement tool that has been developed by ILO and the World Health Organization (WHO) to build the capacities of health service providers in promoting the working environment and workplace conditions.

Occupational safety and the workplace environment is part of Minimum Service Delivery Standards for hospitals developed and being implemented by IHRA. We are working together with ILO to improve our standards relating to workplace safety to align them with international best practices
