Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority has organized a one-day workshop/training session on “Safety of High Alert Medicines”
Islamabad Healthcare Regulatory Authority has organized a one-day workshop/training session on “Safety of High Alert Medicines” based on guidelines notified by DRAP-Pakistan, in collaboration with Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. The Healthcare professionals (Doctors, Pharmacists, Nurses and Para-medical staff) from Hospital in Islamabad attended the said training.
The purpose is that the Healthcare Providers and Organization understand the safety requirements, develop a hospital-based policy on safe handling and use of High Alert Medicines and implement the best practices, so that patient harm can be prevented.
IHRA will continue such training in future. We will ensure that the hospitals trained establish a high alert medication system in their hospitals. This will reduce chances of medical errors in future.
